Jessica and Dominic's Birthdays

Once again it has been a long while since we have posted anything. Since it's the first month of the new year we figured it would be nice to have a few posts about the big things that happened in 2019 and end with a recap of the past few years. It's a new decade after all!

Let's begin with a look see at our two little one's birthdays. Our little miss Jess turned three and Dominic turned two. They're just growing way too fast!


This little princess's third year has been a fun one! She's been learning how to read, working on math, and she is so curious and ready to learn! I can't believe this was well over 6 months ago! She is very imaginative and loves playing with her toys by her self as well as with her brother, and the outdoors is one of her favorite places.






Of course, she wanted a Unicorn party and had more specific ideas for what she wanted. I gave her a few options and a unicorn cookie decorating party is what she picked. It was a lot of fun! 



 Dominic was very excited about the whole thing, too.







The bubble machine was a HUGE hit!






This little man has become a lover of planes, trains, cars, and superheros! He is very eager to learn and loves it when I sit down with him and work on his letters and numbers. The outside is also one of his favorite places to be, and I often find him in his room building something with his big sis. Domi is a snuggle bug and enjoys story time.  






Dominic wasn't quite old enough to give me many specific's on what he wanted to do for his birthday, but he did want a Batman themed party! We played at the park for a good long while, which he loved, and then came back to the "Bat cave" for lunch, cake, and ice cream. 




And there he is! Batman! He still where's this shirt all the time! It's one of his favorites. It even has a cape attached to it. 





We ended Dominic's birthday festivities by going on a trip down south to Escondido. That is a story for the nest blog post!


What can we say? No words can fully describe what a blessing these little ones have been to us! It's been the best time ever, and we can't wait to see what this next year will bring for them!

Happy New Year!

This year... last year...  - or whatever you call that in between limbo time period right before the new year starts, but you're celebrating the new year so it's kinda the new year - we brought in the New Year celebrating Christmas with Casey's side of the family, which was a lot of fun!  As it turns out, Casey and I were drifting off to sleep in our cozy bed when the clock officially struck twelve, but hey we are tired parents, so no judgment, right ;)? Here's to the rest of 2019 (since hey, this post is pretty late and it's already mid February ;P)! It's already been amazing, and I couldn't be more blessed than to be able to go through life with these peeps!       God has blessed us so richly! Hello There!

Hi Everyone! After blogging through Wordpress for a while, we decided that blogger.com was more suited to our blogging style and so here we are! We ran out of room on our other blog and couldn't post any more unless we payed a fee, which is why it's been a while since we've posted. Because of this, we do have quite a few posts in progress, so YAY! We are a family of four and nothing gives us more joy then serving the Lord together and living life to the fullest.  Jessica, our oldest, is two and Dominic just turned one (a post on his birthday coming shortly). We also have a Standard Schnauzer puppy named Klaus whom the kiddos adore!  There are so many things we love to do as a family, and Casey and I also enjoy going on adventurous dates together.
