Walk(er)ing the Narrow Path

Mid October can be the absolute best time to go to the beach - it certainly was this year! The temperature was in the 70s, there was no wind, and the water was fantastic! We thought a nice relaxing day at the beach before Dominic's birthday would be so much fun and it was!   Dominic's first trip to the beach was a huge success! He may have enjoyed himself a little too much! Jessica couldn't get enough of the water. She was fearless! fun in the water with Ayi! Grandma and Dominic enjoying the waves. Wet hugs and salty kisses  Yes, that would happen to be a vegan donut that Auntie Krista brought for us all to snack on. Yuuuuuuummmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyy! Dominic was a bit unsure about the sand from the get go, but after a while we couldn't keep him away from it! Klaus was a good boy even though he was too excited to keep calm. *sigh* We miss you beautiful ocean and salty sea air! Until next year!

The biggest and most recent thing that's taken place is Dominic's first birthday! Of course, there was quite a bit of celebrating over here! Our super cute and grown up little man! Upon waking up on his birthday morning we had a lot of fun opening presents from daddy, mommy, and big sister. He was very entertained by the whole thing and has a very fun time!  His favorite part; however, was his birthday breakfast - a chocolate chip Lara Bar!   After the nice, relaxing morning we took a birthday photo shoot!!!!! One of our favorites! Of course, we have to get some pictures with big sister! What better way to end your birthday than dressing up in matching costumes with daddy and going to your church's Reformation Day celebration?
